Unique Halloween Costumes

Having unique Halloween costumes is a sure-fire way to show your creativity and stand out in a crowd.

Picture Purrfect

Make a large frame out of cardboard, big enough to fit other people in it with you. Decorate it like a cat with fur and whiskers, and ears. Add a collar to the bottom that says "Picture Purrfect". Make people say "meow" when taking pics with you!

Black and White Silent Film Star

Wear black, grey, and white clothes. Now, cover any of your showing skin with light grey facial paint. Make a fancy sign that says "Speaking" like they used to have in the silent films. Don’t talk, just mouth the words and hold up your sign. This is great to do with Black & White classics like the I Love Lucy costumes or a Groucho Marx costume.

Dr. Pepper

Get a white lab coat or some surgical scrubs and a stethoscope. Pin chili peppers all over yourself.

Picnic

Take cardboard and cut a circle out to fit around your waist. Drape it with a checkered cloth. Glue on picnic items like sandwiches, catsup and mustard bottles, plastic forks/spoons/knives, etc. Then wear white pants and add ants crawling up them. Carry a picnic basket full of candy.

Skeleton in the Closet

Find a box large enough to fit over your body. Cut the bottom out. Cut a door in the front of it that will open and close. Spray paint the inside of the box black. Decorate the outside to look like a closet. Wear a skeleton outfit or attach fake bones to your clothes. Put the box on and share all the skeletons in your closet.

Mac-n-Cheese

Dress in a solid color. Find a saucer sled and cut out to create a bowl around your waist. Attach straps that go over your shoulders to hold the sled. Next, cut pieces of foam or pipe insulation to make macaroni noodles. Glue them to the sled. Cover the noodles with thick yellow-orange paint.

Got Milk?

Wear all black and paint "Got Milk?" on your shirt in white print letters. Attach empty cookie wrappers, candy bar wrappers, donut wrappers, and any other thing you think goes good with milk.

Mr. (or Ms.) Universe

Wear all black and tape pictures or models of the sun, moon, planets, etc., to yourself.

Voodoo Doll

Wear off-white sweat pants and turtleneck shirt. Stitch a plaid heart with yarn on the shirt. Stick pins all over your clothes by using a glue gun on the inside and outside of fabric (so they do not stick you). For your head, sew a long rectangular piece of off-white fabric to an off-white beanie so it covers your entire head and goes just past your shoulders. Cut out holes for your eyes and sew black mesh on the inside, so you can see out. Tie a piece of twine around your neck to hold the excess fabric down. Use black yarn to make stitches for the mouth.

Night and Day

Make an outfit that is dark on one side and light on the other side. On the dark side, add stars. On the light side, add clouds. Finish the look by painting one side of your face white with a sun and the other side black with a moon. Do different hairstyles on each side too.
