Unique Halloween Costume Ideas

These Unique Halloween Costume Ideas will have everyone talking!

Kiddie Superhero!

Dress up like a little kid trying to be a superhero by wearing your favorite superhero t-shirt, your underwear outside of your pants (bonus points for superhero undies), googles, a beanie, mismatched socks, etc. Top your look off with a cape that is really a kid’s blanket tied around your neck.

Q-Tip

Wrap your body in blue plastic wrap or wear all blue clothes. Paint your face blue or white. Make your hair big using hairspray and then spray it white or powder it white (or wear a wig). Use cotton balls to cover your shoes and ankles or wear big fuzzy white boots.

Baseball Card

Find a poster of a baseball player on your favorite team. The face in the poster should be approximately the size of your face. Glue it to a large piece of cardboard and cut a hole for your face to stick through. Now cut the same size cardboard again to make the back. Write up your statistics on this piece. Attach the front and back with straps that hang over your shoulders. This works great for any sort of sports or playing card!

Bag of Jellybeans

Take two or three large bags and put one inside the other. Make holes in the bottom for your legs. Blow up about 15-20 balloons of various colors. With your legs in the bag stuff it with the balloons. Tie the bag off at your neck with a colorful ribbon.

Vincent Van Gogh

Dress up in an artist smock and a beret. Cover your left ear with bandages. Carry a paintbrush, palette, or even a Van Gogh painting.

Control Freak

Wear solid color clothes and attach as many remote controls as you can find to them. Tease your hair so that it is big and "out of control".

Hot Air Balloon

Find a large round laundry basket and cut let holes in the bottom. Grab some netting or fabric and go to your favorite party store and get a large helium balloon. If they don’t have 1 large helium balloon, a group of balloons will work too. Throw the netting over the balloon and attach it to your basket with string. Tell people you’re full of hot air! 

Couch Potato

Dress yourself like a potato by stuffing a very oversized brown sweat suit or garbage bag. Carry a remote control, a beer, and complain about nothing being on TV.

Mummy-To-Be

Dress in all white. Add padding to make yourself look pregnant -- no padding needed if you are pregnant! (Congrats!) Wrap yourself in gauze to look like a mummy. Paint your face with white paint and add black all around your eyes to complete the look.
