Quick Easy Halloween Costumes

Quick easy Halloween costumes can be fun and entertaining or they can be tacky and cheap. Most people would choose to go for the fun and entertaining costumes because they look better, but mainly because they are so much fun to put together. 

Gypsy or a Pirate

To pull of either look you are going to need a lot of jewelry and many layers. To begin the costume you will need to wrap a scarf or a bandana around the head, this is for both gypsies and pirates. 

For the jewelry you will want to find large dangly hoops, but also flashy necklaces, bracelets and rings, the more jewelry you can find laying the better. 

For a gypsy you want to wear at least one long flowing skirt, wearing several of them can be a nice effect. Under the skirt, you will want to wear some style of boots, whether they are mid calf of knee-high boots. You want to wear a colorful blouse, the more flowing and colorful it is the better. 

For a pirate a white flowing shirt and black or brown pants works the best. The length of the pants can vary depending on the type of boots you are wearing; you can even cut them in jagged edges around the knees to give the appearance that they are worn out.

Living Dead Look

The key to this costume is lots of makeup. The first thing you want to do is to put lots of black eyeliner around the eyes and then place brown and purple eye shadow above and below the eyes. 

You can also add some white face make up to the face and neck to help complete the look. 

Use a red lipstick that is close to the color of blood to make a trickle of blood from the corner of each mouth. 

Make your hair messy and frizzy or you can add hair products to slick it back, the greasier it looks the better. 

The clothes you wear can be old and tattered; they should also be dingy looking. To create the right look smear some dirt and grass on the clothes, gives you that coming out of the grave look.

Tacky Tourist

Tourists are great people to dress up as because of how easy it is to do, dressing up as a tacky tourist just adds some laughter to an already great costume. 

Look in your closet and find all of the touristy looking clothes that you can, flowered shirts, the brighter the better. Capri's or Bermuda shorts with loud patterns on them. 

Once you have everything assembled, you want to choose the designs and colors that are going to clash the most. Grab a pair of big sunglasses and a sun hat and sandals to add even more flavor to the look. 

Top it all off by slinging a camera around your neck and some white cream on your nose to act as sunscreen. 

To collect your candy use a beach bag that is loud and colorful.
