Max and Wild Thing Couple Costume
Wild Thang.. You make my heart SANGGG!!
My boyfriend and I decided to go as characters from Where The Wild Things are this year since the movie came out in October.
We wanted to stay true to the illustrations in the children's book so that our costumes would be timeless. We built the wild thing mask out of a laundry basket and foam, then glued on different colored bath towels for the nose eyes and face. For the hair and scales on the pants, we bought faux fur and vinyl fabric.
We were like celebrities in Downtown San Jose, and placed in the costume contest as well! Unfortunately, we left our cameras at home, but thanks to facebook and promoters of the club, we were able to find a few good shots of our costumes. Enjoy!
