Hillbilly Family Costume
Trying to think of a creative use of my pregnant belly and still be original, I thought that my husband and I could switch roles (since he's rather slender). I would be a beer bellied husband, he would be the Belle of the South, and our daughter could be our little hick child.
So we gussied ourselves up and made a truly epic costume. The best part was that my husband is really good at acting with a straight face and so he was "in character" as a southern girl the whole time we were at his work's Halloween party... showing off his chest and just in general being hilarious.
I'm not so outgoing, but I did kind of like having my hair in a fake mullet and I grunted and belched sometimes and referred to my husband as Ma, while he referred to me as Pa. It was a grand time.
As a note, my shirt says "Kickin' Bass and Takin' Names" and my hat says "Hungry-Man". I'm also 32 weeks pregnant.
