Halloween Party Decorations

Prepping for a big party?? You'll need the right Halloween Party Decorations! You'll want to prepare the decorations ahead of time because some of the decorations can take a few days to set up, while others will only take a few hours. 

The other reason to plan your party decorations early is because it allows you to decorate for the holiday all month long! And you know, gives you time to pay attention to the other details of your Halloween party, such as the food or your costumes.

We'll cover the basics here, you should plan the rest of your decorations according to your Halloween party theme.

Party Lighting

First things first. Lighting is important, that's why movies have a person dedicated to getting the lighting right. But for you, we'll make it easy.  

A simple thing to do is turn off all of your lights and only use candles to light the house; this gives your house a spooky kind of glow. 

You can also just dim all of your lights and use dark colored bulbs to put off even less light.

Moody Fog

The next thing you want to do is to create some type of fog inside your house. You can do this by buying your own fog machine or you can create your own fog. 

To create your own fog all you will need is a solid plastic bucket and some dry ice. Place the dry ice in the bucket and pour some water over the dry ice, the dry ice needs to be completely covered in water. You will immediately have wisps of fog floating through the room.

Cobwebs & Creepies

Cobwebs and creepy spiders and creatures are also classic Halloween party decorations that you can use in your house. These are easily found just about anywhere around Halloween or you can buy them online. When buying, they tend to look creepier when their eyes glow and they crawl on their own.
