Halloween Mummy Dogs

The classic pigs-in-a-blanket become Halloween Mummy Dogs with a little change in prep and presentation!

Ingredients

1 can refrigerated crescent rolls (8 count)
10 large hot dogs
Cooking spray
Mustard or ketchup, if desired

Directions

Heat oven to 375°F.

Unroll crescent roll dough.
Separate at straight-line perforations creating 4 large rectangles.
Press down diagonal-line perforations.
With knife or kitchen scissors, cut each rectangle lengthwise into 10 pieces.

Wrap 4 pieces of dough around each hot dog and to look like "bandages". You’ll need to stretch the dough slightly to completely cover hot dog. About 1/2 inch from one end of each hot dog, separate "bandages" so hot dog shows through for "face."

Put mummy dogs on a ungreased large cookie sheet. Spray dough lightly with cooking spray.

Bake 13 to 17 minutes or until dough is light golden brown and hot dogs are hot. With mustard, draw eyes on the "face."

Serve with blood (catsup) and enjoy!

Notes & Tips
-Make Shriveled Mummy Dogs by using cocktail wieners instead of hot dogs.
-Add cheese to these by adding 1/4 slice of American cheese underneath your mummy wrapping.
