Batman Tumbler Transformer Costume

Batmobile Tumbler Transformer Costume (that actually transforms!!)
I spent 2 months creating a design in Google Sketch-up. I used a model of the Tumbler designed by Angel Moore and used that to figure out how everything was going to work together.
The construction took about 1 month to finish. All the materials came from Lowe’s or Walmart. The majority of the costume is made out of structural sheathing, which is like cardboard only stronger. Most of the moving parts used metal hinges of different types. Pieces are held together with bolts, magnets, heavy-duty staples, Velcro or construction adhesive.
The rear wheels have a skeleton made from 18” wreath frames and are wrapped in a thick generic black cloth. Front wheels used 5-gallon bucket lids for the skeleton. Windows are made from plexi-glass sheets painted black on the inside. Everything was painted with black and copper spray paint.
The total cost of the project was a little over $150, probably because I didn’t own some of the tools that I needed to complete it.
I am happy with the way it turned out. As far as I know, no one has ever tried this costume idea before.
