Abba Costumes

Abba is known all over the world so you can rock your Abba Costumes anywhere you’d like!

The first thing you’ll need is three friends to form your group of four. This is a perfect costume for two couples but it doesn’t really matter if it is two guys and two gals as long as people are willing to dress up as the opposite sex. And really, it is Halloween so why wouldn’t they?

Since Abba had SO many looks, here are a few different ones for you to recreate!

Classic Abba 

 

There is no denying that coordinating white outfits is the classic Abba look.

Find white jumpsuits or coveralls for all four of you. Embellish them with sequins, appliqués, belts, guitars & boots!

Go Go Abba

Agnetha & Frida: Find long white t-shirts with a similar print. Cut slits on the side, tie on a white ribbon belt, and slide into your go-go boots.

Bjorn: Look for tight white overalls and embellish the legs, the bib, and the pockets with some gold sequin trim. Add a gold bishop sleeve shirt, platform white boots.

Benny: Find a tight white short-sleeved coverall/jumpsuit or separate white pants and white shirt. Embellish the sleeves, pockets, collar, and bottom of the pants with silver sequins. Add a dark colored bishop sleeve shirt, a dark scarf and a silver sequin belt.

Foiled Sexy Abba

If you want a super sexy Abba costume, whip out the aluminum foil and strategically place it over your sexiest parts.

Colorful Abba

Abba can rock jumpsuits like no one’s business. If you can’t find matching ones, buy white coveralls and spray paint or dye them the color you want. Don’t forget matching belts and colored cowboy boots to complete this look!

Abba Costume Tips

Be sure to get the hair right for each member and don’t forget that Benny always had facial hair. If you need wigs, here are suggestions:

Agnetha was known for her golden locks so grab yourself a Ho Wig (Blonde) - ignore the terrible name of this wig, it’s the look you want.

Frida’s hair changed quite often. You can go with the Lots of Layers Brunette Adult Wig (left) or the Peggy Sue 50's Wig (Brown) .

Bjorn perfects the 70’s shag look. This blonde shag wig is perfect.

Benny’s hair helps his tall, dark, and handsome loo. This brown wig will look great!

Also break out the accessories, especially the platform boots ! Even the guys wore them but if you’re a man it is probably easier to find them in women’s sizes so add 2 sizes to you regular shoe size to get the right size in women’s.
